Shades of Totalitarianism

Their twisted sophistry
Misrepresents their aim,
In actuality they plan
A different game,
Compassionate conservatism
Serves for public confusion,
But religious fundamentalism
Is the basis of their real solution,
In a regime where semi-fascism
Lingers just around the bend,
Democracy is at its end.
