Misbegotten Marriage

John was extraordinary tall,
Bridget exceptionally small,
But deeply in love,
When they first met,
But six months later,
Their marriage was dead,
Till one fine day,
John told Bridget,
Her epitaph should be:
'BRIDGET A FRIGID MIDGET',
And she replied, furious and fast,
His should be: 'STIFF - AT LAST'.
