Take care of what you wish for,
You may get it - friend,
The wish fulfilled,
May have a bitter end,
You fervently wish
For your son's return
From battle in Iraq,
You get your wish,
He's sent back in a body bag,
You wish and vote
For a Republican Administration,
You get your wish,
Lose freedom and prosperity,
And live in a ruined nation,
You wish your wife
Would show more get and go,
You get your wish,
She runs off with a tennis pro,
So friend, carefully choose
Your wishes for tomorrow,
Fulfilled - they may turn into sorrow...
