To a Beauty Queen

Amongst the qualities
Which add to life the style,
A sense for beauty
Seems to me the most worthwhile,
And nowhere can aesthetic
Qualities be better seen
Than in selecting of a gal
To be a beauty queen,
And for the night we gladly
Cast aside all daily duties,
To feast our eyes upon The Palms
Enticingly-stemmed beauties.
It's times like these which set
Male instincts all afire,
And lend us for another year
An added measure of desire.
