Jews

For five thousand years
They've wandered the globe,
Lighting a beacon
Of spirit, intellect, hope,
Contributed the Bible,
And great minds of note,
Moses, Jesus, Freud, Einstein
Are just a few one can quote,
The Jews, just a small minority,
Gave great spiritual treasures
To the world's majority,
They lit a shining light
To help banish
The medieval night.
