Sweet Mystery of Life

This sweet mystery of life,
The galaxies, the universe,
The mind of man,
His inner thoughts of his 'to be'
Is still a miracle to me,
What sublime intellect,
What divine force
Is at this wonder's source?
Me thinks, there'll come a day
When man will pierce
This hidden sky,
Discover with amazement
The 'how and why',
Perchance detect
That man is part
Of this godly intellect.
