Edelweiss

High in the Alps
Near green meadows
Surrounded by snows,
Hidden away,
The edelweiss grows,
A flower so fair,
A flower so rare,
Picked one fresh long ago,
Found it dried in a book,
Reminds me of my youth,
The Alps and the snow...
