From Nothing to Nothingness

It all starts with a moment
Of sexual gratification,
Arising from nothing
As a new human creation
And at its life span's cessation
Turning to vapor and dust,
To nothingness,
As all organic matter must,
Recycled atoms though remain
For repetition of the game
Through circular infinity
Creating a new life again,
A life started in pain,
Spent fighting for
Survival and gain
And in the end
All done in vain,
An exercise in vanity
With certain death
The final calamity.
