The Human Condition

From a favorable reception
To a successful conception,
With two people mated,
Hopefully unrelated,
A new being is created
Who could turn into a president
Or an asylum resident,
Whatever fate is theirs to be
In life's strange lottery,
Then, after some laughter,
Tears and lust,
They meet their destined fate
And turn to dust
As all poor mortals must...
