Vienna

Of my hometown I dreamt last night,
Vienna, waltzes and candlelight,
Drinking mocha in a small cafe
And dreaming the day away
Where Strauss wrote music long ago
And Freud got the human soul to know,
In this old city along the Danube's flow,
Gleaming golden in the evening's glow
Where life moves joyfully along
In a relaxed and easy flow
And first I got the world to know
So many, many years ago.
