Shades of Totalitarianism

Their twisted sophistry
Misrepresents their aim,
In actuality,
They plan a different game.

'Compassionate Conservatism'
Serves for public confusion,
But religious fundamentalism
Is the basis of their real solution
In a regime where semi-fascism
Lingers just around the bend.

Should they succeed
Democracy is at an end.
