In Vienna, Uncle Dave
Did extremely well,
In 1938, leather goods
Did he produce and sell,
As a Jew he was arrested
And in a concentration camp
Starved, tortured and molested,
He escaped after a year
But he never lost his fear,
Never recovered
And always suffered,
A life of misery,
A death in poverty...
