Holocaust Memories
Those memories do haunt me yet,
The camp, the gas, the ovens,
Six million dead,
And often I wake in my bed,
After a nightmare, in cold sweat,
Recalling how I barely got away,
Lucky to keep death at bay,
Sad for all who had to stay.
For the rest of my life,
Wherever I'd be,
The trauma of our agony
Will always haunt my memory...
