Widow's Tale of Woe

On sunny days
Or moonlit nights,
You're with me yet,
And when in spring
The flowers bloom,
You're with me yet,
When summer's last rose
Does its petals shed,
You're with me yet,
Or when on cold
And wintery nights
I lie alone in our bed,
You're with me yet,
For in my heart of hearts
You're never dead!
