The Psychiatrist
To the psychiatrist
I make my confession:
"I have an obsession
With my depression."
He looks quite quixotic,
Thinks I am a neurotic,
Or worse, a psychotic,
And changes the topic,
Claims of my ravings
He had his fill,
On my way out,
I should pay my due bill.
To you I would say:
"These chaps are expensive,
Their help not extensive,
And I safely declare -
Forget those quacks,
Settle your own affair!"
