On Beauty

Have you not worshiped
Beauty from afar,
A scenic view, a poem,
Music or a movie star
And thought why heaven
In its grace
Granted divinity to nature,
A phrase, a melody,
A lovely face
And wondered gratefully
Why the sublime
Can be heard or seen
At the most unexpected scene?
