American Troops in Buchenwald
When Buchenwald was occupied
Where thousands were tortured
And most inmates died
While the starving survivors
Were a pitiful sight,
Living with typhus, misery, blight
With all humane conventions defied,
Yet, there should be a justice - divine,
For the punishment of those Nazis
Did not fit their crime.
