We, masons, built
The Temple in Jerusalem
And ever since we've kept
Alight God's holy flame,
We worship at our shrine
The all-seeing eye of the divine,
From Mozart to Washington
Till this very day
As brothers we've gone on
In our traditional way
And if a brother in distress is found
To help him we are honor-bound,
We are a world-wide secret society
Pledged to honor, decency,
Fraternity, propriety...
