Haunting
Though sixty years have passed,
The horror haunts me yet,
Auschwitz, the gas, the ovens,
All those innocent dead
And often, at night,
I wake in a cold sweat
After nightmares and dread
About those six million
Forced to suffer and die,
Whose smoke
Still clouds my sky...
