Literature versus Kitsch

These days there's
Little serious literature,
For modern writers'
Kitsch is quite obscure,
Money oriented
And immature,
Since there are no rewards
For traditional classics
And the arts.

Detective, romance novels
Are the current craze
Which feed the literary waste.
