Salek's Thoughts - 1945

Always I think of my family,
Wife and children
Lost in the Holocaust,
Had they but come with me,
What would they do,
How would they be,
I dream of them every night
And I wake in despair
In the morning light,
Why did I live,
Why did they die,
If there is a God,
I'd ask him - WHY?
