Confidence in Banks

Reserve requirements for banks
Are only, legally, a fractional amount
And if there is a depositors' cash run,
They cannot honor the account.

If there is a severe recession
Or a full fledged depression,
The public may lose confidence
Banks will be overrun
Leaving for cash withdrawals
Very little chance
And Federal Insurance
Will be broke
And cannot recompense.

So, do not take a chance
No matter what,
Keep your confidence!
