Together...

We live together
In a little cottage
By the sea,
Spending a lifetime,
Just you and me,
Without each other
We simply cannot be.

We loved each other
With youth's passion
And married
In the proper fashion,
And in our maturity
Our love was the security,
And in our latter stage,
Together we enjoyed
The serenity of old age
Till death will
Part us one day,
But in my heart
Of hearts I pray,
Even in our passing
We'll together stay...
