On String Theory

All man perceives
Is merely sense illusion,
Vibrating strings of energy
Like lighted points
In empty space
Is the real conclusion;
It seems perverse
But looking at a man
With infinite magnification
We see the universe,
And thus we live
In ignorant bliss
In a world which seems
But never is.
