Cancer

Cancers of many a kind
In this world one can find,
There's the malignant cancer cell,
Caused by genetics or radiation,
Which does in the body dwell,
Causing many a death
- a cure we haven't found yet,
There's the religious fanatic cell
Which kills millions
And leads humanity to hell,
There's the flag-waving nationalist
Whose chauvinism one cannot resist
When for 'god and country'
He raises his hand or his fist,
The most dangerous cancer cell
Who with nuclear war,
May ring man's final bell,
And there is the decadent cell
Which civilizations'
Slow death may spell.

Yes, there are cancers - enough
To make the survival
For mankind rather tough.
