In Monte Carlo

Escaping the city's bustle,
They met on a vacation
For a bit of recreation,
But they did really care
And their interlude
Turned into a torrid love affair,
But she had a husband
And he had a wife,
So, they grudgingly returned
To their boring, staid life.
