To twist the meaning of words
Is a very special skill
For which lawyers
Render their bill,
While politicians make sure
To get their graft and sinecure
And ad people dangle it
As their captivating lure,
With insurers using it
As their stint
By writing contracts in
Incomprehensible fine print,
From Wall Street to the credit card,
Our entire system is based
On the tricky deception
Of sophistry art.
