Idealist

By the people selected
and the majority elected
this decent idealist
now rushes over here
and hustles over there,
wanting to rush everywhere
and after running for a while
no one can find him anywhere,
increasing his quiet desperation
in trying to free from rotten mold
our once prosperous nation.
