Modern Times

In modern times
when science
replaces superstition
gods and their
antiquated religions
have lost their
legitimate positions,
they're these days
simply out of fashion
since survival now
depends on responsibility,
love and compassion
for there's no heaven above
and no hell below
except for delusions
which make it so.
