Only a Theory

The human anatomy
appears to our senses as a
biological manifestation
yet, its components are atoms,
an electromagnetic configuration,
the macrocosm in miniature,
its microcosm a duplication
of stars and galaxies in the universe
the atoms, nuclei, protons, electrons
and large empty spaces in between,
very similar but in reverse,
and all matter composed of strings,
those smallest waves never seen,
opening and closing - pure energy,
perchance, a possible solution
to the MC square mystery
of a world we sense and see,
not composed of matter - only energy
where everything which is - only seems
and our lives are sense perceptions
not of reality but illusions and dreams...

Bored Housewives

Like nectar in flowers entices the bee,
Pierre, our handsome gigolo stud,
attracts bored housewives, including me,
he came to us by recommendation
by satisfied clients stating Pierre
in sexual relations is a veritable sensation
serving wives with additional recreation,
so now, when husbands and kids are away,
we schedule Pierre for a suitable time of day
when only we are home alone to freely play,
besides it's rumored by the ladies
that Pierre makes the most adorable babies
and some of us are not eager to prevent
an occasional happy stance accident,
hopefully, the resulting offspring
does not resemble its source
for our breadwinners may want a divorce.

Double Bind

When parents give
opposing impressions
by changing directions,
constantly alternating
between acceptance
and eloquent praise
to outright rejection,
the child may grow up
in a state of confusion
with a bipolar psychosis
its sad conclusion.

Old Money in the Palms

He has a mind
of average dimensions
but a self-image afflicted
with huge pretensions,
a lack of humility
matched to low ability,
his unstable personality
can at times be a fatality,
but his inherited fortune
is of old money quantity
and known family quality,
a billionaire in the Palms,
they always cater to him
praising his affable charms
his old family gentility,
his personal quality,
outstanding generosity,
talent and ability,
using the old chap fully
for their own utility,
while hoping to inherit
when he reaches senility.

Addiction Clinic Applicant

Chase the cold turkey blues
and get the bread for the next fix,
two C's worth of stuff for the day,
had to rip off some dudes
early in the morning
around Chelsea,
last one gave me static,
had to cool him with my blade,
stuck him good and split
before the pigs came,
brought the loot
to the connection
and got me a quarter of dope,
took it to the shooting gallery
and got me a high,
not as good as it used to be,
there's just never enough...
but man, I'm tired of this hassle,
running, going nowhere,
worried about tomorrow's rip-off,
gimme a chance, man,
put me on today,
I'm beat, so damn beat,
tired of cutting dudes,
tired of the street...
I want to be like them dudes
with the ties - all clean and nice...

Circumcision

Above the entrance door
was an advertising clock
to denote a time piece store,
but when I asked a watch to see,
the owner said politely
he has nothing to sell to me,
his only service is circumcision
which he does with great precision
I asked him about the clock over his door,
he claimed a male organ was there before
but the City wanted to close his store
so he hung this clock over his door,
thinking about it I suggested a sign,
'great improvement of male genital'
which really sounds quite benign,
a much better ad for the store,
besides with the ladies and gents
his business would score.

Jack's Escape from Sobibor

Fifty years have passed
since I saw Sobibor last,
leaving bitter memories
of my horrible past.

I returned on a bright, sunny day
to its wild flowers and green pastures
during the blooming time of May
to walk once more again
this deadly tree-lined street
called Heaven's Way
where 250.000 Jews
saw their last light of day
before exhaust gases from
tank motors ended their stay,
where they also put my dad
to choke his very life away,
I walked past the lush greenery
and the many-hued flowers
enhancing the peaceful scenery,
where Jews in nineteen forty three
revolted violently to gain liberty,
killing eleven SS officers and guards
attempting to flee to distant parts
but their flight ended too soon
when most prisoners were caught
spelling their final doom,
but fifty escaped to tell their story
of murder, mayhem - bloody, gory,
joining the Polish partisans
in reverence for life's glory.

I picked some flowers
where our heroes took flight
and down on Heaven's Way
where my beloved father died,
looked up at the blue sky,
then, silently, I cried and cried...

Mistake

Ah, to be single again
instead of being married
to a gal without a brain
with very good looks
but she never reads books,
not one who ever cooks,
tends to be a bit of a slut,
of lovers she had a glut,
if she still does
I really know not,
I met her on some
one-night stand,
too many drinks
and the situation
got out of hand,
we woke up dazed
the following day
and now she's my wife
and won't go away
unless I give her
a good alimony
she's here to stay,
I just made a mistake,
another quick marriage
I won't ever make.

Jacob's Diary

The years may come,
the years may go
but my old nightmares
stay with me though,
the camp, the odor
of the burning flesh
when ovens were aglow,
my family and friends
killed in the gas chambers
many, many years ago,
those memories
still haunt me so...

Appeasement

Returning from Munich,
Prime Minister Chamberlain,
stepping off the plane,
carrying his umbrella
in case of any rain
proudly stated to the press,
his meeting with Hitler
was a huge success
with the comforting explanation
for guaranteed peace in our time
he gave Hitler only the Czech nation
and the Third Reich and England
now have an excellent relation.

Seventy years have gone by
since this turned out to be a lie
and now a new administration
tries to trade Israel's people and soil
to those new destructive terrorists
for a so-called peace and oil.

It is strange how such treachery
always repeats itself in history.

Glory

When Tommy came
marching home from Iraq,
his job was already taken
so his boss gave him the sack
and with the economy
a growing catastrophe,
he faced the enjoyment
of lengthy unemployment,
no benefits he could find
since the country is in a bind,
and the future he'd seek
looks rather bleak,
though he's a honored hero,
his service is forgotten
and his rewards are zero,
this is the sad story
of fighting for glory.

Last Dream in Auschwitz

Sam closes his eyes
and dreams of his home,
his haven in paradise
living with his family,
two children and wife,
enjoying a secure life
of peace and harmony
in a cottage by the sea,
his profession - a physician,
highly respected,
in a good position,
he dreams of green pastures,
rustling trees and blue skies,
but then - he opens his eyes,
naked people all around,
an eerie hissing sound,
a strange almond smell,
a woman's desperate yell:
"They're killing us here,
this the entrance to hell."

Wall Street Shark

They call me the shark
on Wall Street Bay
who gets the most fish
on many a day - they all say,
as bait I use any old stock
to catch a ripe sucker
and swallow him up,
but lately the fishes all rot,
no one can eat them
and catching fish
on the Bay came to a stop,
so, I've decided to change,
hoping to find my luck
on the Shanghai Exchange.

Agnostic

I must truly confess
to find my religious bless
believing in life's holiness
and my reverence for humanity,
not in those senseless prayers
uttering some religious inanities
or engage in wars' insanities
to please some obscure
and unknown god's vanities
for I know not of heavens above
or any devils in hell below,
no gods I ever knew of or saw,
only the here and now I know,
all this humbug is speculation,
man's imaginary creation,
yet I am an agnostic,
a chap - a bit caustic,
for no one can tell,
if god forbid,
those gods really exist,
I may wind up in hell...

Pierre

Stunningly handsome,
Pierre was the dream
of many a lady
if asked they'd say
'oh yes' not even maybe,
thinking this luscious hunk
could spawn a fabulous baby,
those fine-shaped lips
his dark, romantic eyes,
invited promising sex,
hopefully, marital ties,
but all those ladies
would stay away
were they to know
this chap was gay.

Projected Future

In our world every couple in a nation
has the need for a 2.11 % birthrate
to just replace their population
but the situation in Europe,
due to less births, is a bit strange
with a 1.1% to a 1.8 % range
thus having the unique distinction
of progressive extinction
but this, in turn, is offset
by a huge Islamic immigration
where the fertility rate
is beyond any imagination
with their original citizens
averaging 1.38 % birthrate
causing their rapid reduction
while Islamic immigrants have
an up to an 8 % reproduction,
however, conditions in the USA
manage to incorporate all people
in an unique melting pot way
while in Europe most of Islam's
fanatic fundamentalists, one can say,
not ever change during their stay,
thus, in their own ways, they persist
to any possible assimilation resist,
trying their best to replace old cultures
which since times immemorial exist,
this may steer Europe to the good or bad,
but the loss of old cultures is rather sad,
besides, like Pakistan, Afghanistan,
Iraq, Palestine, Syria and Iran,
Bin Laden's fifth column will again
start, like the Towers, to take the US on,
hopefully, our new President Obama
will not repeat selling countries for peace,
as Chamberlain in Munich's tragic drama.

It's Love

the heart go faster,
it's love remembered
ever after...

My First Love

It's on nights like these
when moonbeams
garnish silver seas,
stars covering the Milky Way,
faint sounds of music
drifting 'cross the bay,
fragrance of jasmine in the air,
ti's at moments like this
I think of you my dearest,
of my never forgotten bliss,
awakening first love's delight,
passions I'd never known before,
an all consuming heavenly light,
lifting my body and soul
to a fiery, delirious height
amidst the shadows of the night,
a never forgotten dream
in life's rarely golden scheme,
it's on romantic nights like these
in my mind's eye - it's you I see
and wonder if you ever think of me...

Memories

Faint memories of the past
of love and friendships
which did not last,
of chances missed
or were not meant to be
often evoke regrets in me,
sometimes I dream
what life I could have lived
had I not missed
some long forsaken gift,
alas, it's fate directing our way,
thoughts of the 'might have been'
will lead us but astray...

Beyond Wonder

Beyond the sense of wonder
in this mere mortal coil,
the intellect of man
does through the heavens toil,
beyond the daily grind,
the constant battle to survive,
man strives for comprehension
of this mysterious cosmos and of life.

There'll come a day
when man will know it all,
he'll rise to be the god
of this great universe
with nature at his call...

Fading Shadows

The fading shadows of the past,
those nightmares haunt me yet,
camps, gas chambers, ovens,
six million of my people - dead,
innocent men, women, children
rising as smoke up in the sky,
because of racial prejudice
Jehovah's people had to die,
the God I once believed in
never gave any reason - why?

The Patient Thinks...

"I feel terrible, Doctor Sweetfart,
my whole body hurts constantly,
it's like I'm falling apart."

"I examined you thoroughly,
there is nothing wrong with you,
you just think you are sick."
replied Doctor Sweetfart
to his patient Nebbichstick.

"Maybe I need a nervous doctor?"

"A psychiatrist - is that what
you're trying to say?
I checked this out - no way!
Nothing wrong on that score,
you just think you're sick."
Said the good Doctor to his
worried patient Nebbichstick.

Three months later Doctor Sweetfart
saw Adolf, Nebbichstick's son,
in the local super mart.
He asked Adolf: "How is your Dad?"
Said Adolf: "He thinks he is dead."

How Empires Fall

Media pornography,
early promiscuity,
teenage pregnancies,
home insolvencies,
Welfare dependencies,
dysfunctional families,
fifty percent divorces,
single parent homes,
reduced resources,
production exported,
by outsourcing industry
unemployment supported,
everyone living on credit
with unlimited money printed
to support the country's debit,
causing currency devaluation
ruining the economy
of the struggling nation,
increasing moral turpitude,
growing irresponsibility,
egocentric attitude,
special interests' seduction
through lobby payoffs
causing political corruption,
the middle classes joining
the poor in the proletariat,
while the very wealthy
turn into the power elite,
a class totally apart,
and to prevent a revolution,
the Roman 'bread and circuses'
now Welfare, TV and the Internet
are the modern 2009 solution,
with wars to stimulate the economy,
employing the jobless in the army
instead of in our lost industry,
on all these factors depends
our rapidly growing decadence,
and like Sumerians, Romans and Greeks,
the rise and fall of an empire ends...

Pagliacci

'Smiles refresh the soul',
frequently said my dad,
well, I became a circus clown,
I smile but am always sad,
it's a vagrant's honky tonk life,
the lion tamer sleeps with my wife,
this drove me unreasonably wild
and now the customs' lady
is expecting my child,
it's life the Bohemian way,
like today's society going astray,
I hate it more every day,
the vernier - all smiles and well,
hiding the soul's inner hell...

German Army Hospice 1/2/1943

"This is Army Captain Wunderad,
paralyzed and shell shocked
in the Battle of Stalingrad,
irreversible injuries of the spinal cord
including head wounds affecting the brain,
the poor soul will never be the same,
we recommend to the hospice
to put him out of his miseries",
reported SS Captain Dr.Bliss.

"No problem", replied SS Captain Dr. Rots,
"well treat him well, give him the proper shots,
after the crematorium does the daily mass burn,
we'll send his family the ashes in an urn,
write them he fell for his fatherland
in the glorious battle for Stalingrad,
just write down the family home address
to mail the urn of our brave Captain Wunderad.

The Chauffeur, Pierre Gabin

Let me kiss your hand, Madame
and let me take you in my arms,
in ecstasy I'd succumb to your charms
though I'm only your young chauffeur
hired to drive you around
but with my heart and soul
I'm hopelessly to you bound.

Mrs. Dumont

My new chauffeur, Pierre, we found,
he's an absolutely darling boy,
he'd be a delightful diversion,
a really fabulous sex toy,
but then, of course,
we have to let him go
because in our circle
they'd talk about it - you know,
though Mr. Dumont may not care,
he's busy with his own affair.

Mr. Dumont

Seems, Francine has an eye
on her new boy chauffeur,
but frankly, I do not much care,
my new young mistress, Annette,
is much better in bed
and if Francine keeps busy with Pierre
she'll probably stay out of my hair.

Annette

Met this wealthy CEO,
he's the hottest find I know,
showers me with jewels and money,
my new apartment is a honey,
he's my sugar daddy upswing source,
if I can manage to work him right,
I may steer him into a divorce.

Swinging Couple

They had an open marriage,
a swinging couple carriage,
sleeping all around,
never saw much of each other,
feeling quite unbound,
a relationship - not sound
but after many years
of joys, sex, fights and tears,
his potency became less rigid
while she turned a bit frigid
and now they're one true pair,
their bonds in good repair,
endowed with tender loving care.

Holocaust - Never Again

Six million innocents killed,
left the civilized world chilled,
an assembly line genocide,
brutal, savage and new,
men, women, children,
of their guilt - not a clue,
humaneness and morality
running wildly askew,
because of an insane ideology
these victims paid their dues,
just because they were Jews,
for no logical reason they had to die,
marking forever the world's moral sky
and now we hear the horrid news
of this disgusting Mideast little Hitler
wanting to kill all infidels and Jews,
promoting with all his evil energy
to throw Israel's Jews into the sea
but never again will this permitted to be,
remember fifty four millions died
in the Nazi-caused conflagration,
if this new Hitler tries it again,
he'll be responsible for a nuclear retaliation
wiping out his propagandized nation
with millions of innocents evaporated
because of a fool's fanaticism and hatred.
